This course is designed to safety basics, focus on high-risk scenarios and to inform workers about changes to the job site and working conditions that may have occurred since their last shift. Be sure to discuss cover any accidents or injuries that have occurred and how they could have been prevented. Instructional contact-time must be a minimum of 8 hours.

  5. Safety Procedures and Emergency Preparedness: Standard operating procedures for safe work practices, how to develop and implement safety procedures, emergency preparedness and response planning
  6. OSHA Regulations and Compliance: Overview of OSHA regulations specific to the workplace, how to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, training on OSHA regulations and compliance
  7. Fire Safety: Fire hazards and risks in the workplace, fire prevention and protection measures, fire extinguisher usage and maintenance

  9. Accident Investigation and Reporting: Techniques for conducting accident investigations, how to report accidents and incidents, how to identify and correct accident causes
  10. Tools and Resources: Overview of the various tools and resources available for promoting health and safety in the workplace, how to use checklists, forms, and templates for conducting risk assessments and reporting incidents, access to online resources such as OSHA regulations and guidelines, safety training materials and best practices.
  11. Conclusion: Recap of the importance of health and safety in the workplace, the role of a health and safety toolbox in promoting a safe and healthy work environment, the benefits of implementing a comprehensive health and safety program in the workplace.


Training will be conducted via Microsoft Team Meeting, online. Meeting invites will be shared on the day before the first day of training.
