This course will offer participants a detailed understanding in various segments, which are not limited to:

1. Introduction: Overview of health and safety in the workplace with emerging workers, importance of understanding the unique needs and challenges of emerging workers
2. Understanding Emerging Workers: Defining emerging workers and their characteristics, identifying the different groups of emerging workers, including temporary, casual, and contract workers, understanding the challenges and risks facing emerging workers
3. Communication and Training: Effective communication strategies for working with emerging workers, how to provide clear and concise instructions and information, training on health and safety procedures and regulations specific to emerging workers
4. Risk Assessment and Hazard Identification: Techniques for identifying and assessing risks specific to emerging workers, how to conduct a risk assessment and evaluate the level of risk associated with identified hazards, strategies for reducing and controlling risks in the workplace
5. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Types of PPE commonly used with emerging workers, how to properly select, use, and maintain PPE, training on the proper use of PPE
