This course covers topics such as toxic substance identification, risk assessment, safe handling and storage practices, emergency response, and personal protective equipment. Participants will learn about the dangers and hazards associated with toxic substances and how to develop and implement effective safety procedures to minimize risk and protect workers. The course is intended for workers in industries where toxic substances are used, safety officers, and anyone responsible for managing or supervising the handling of toxic substances. Instructional contact-time must be a minimum of 8 hours.
