This course is designed to focus on promoting safety and health in warehouse environments. The course covers topics such as hazard identification and control, safe storage and handling of goods, forklift operation, and emergency planning. The objective of the course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to work safely in a warehouse environment, prevent accidents and injuries, and comply with relevant regulations and standards. The course may also address the importance of proper equipment maintenance, effective communication, and teamwork in maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse operation. Instructional contact-time must be a minimum of 8 hours.

- Hazardous Materials and Chemical Safety: Proper procedures for handling and storing hazardous materials and chemicals in a warehouse, how to properly use and dispose of hazardous materials and chemicals in a warehouse, he importance of employee training on hazardous materials and chemical safety
- Accident Investigation and Reporting: Techniques for conducting accident investigations in a warehouse, how to properly document and report warehouse accidents and incidents, the importance of analyzing accident data to identify trends and prevent future incidents
- Forklift Safety and Operator Training: Overview of the OSHA standards and regulations for forklift operation, hands on practical training on how to operate a forklift safely and efficiently, evaluation of operator performance.
Training will be conducted via Microsoft Team Meeting, online. Meeting invites will be shared on the day before the first day of training.
