  • Select and use respiratory protection for H2S: SCBA for IDLH atmospheres (≥100 ppm or unknown), SAR with 5-minute escape bottle, APR limitations (only below IDLH, only with appropriate cartridge, never for rescue), and the respiratory protection hierarchy for H2S.
